Order Out of Chaos By Patrick Redford

Inspired by So Sato’s “Bushfire Triumph” and Giancarlo Scalia’s “The Ace of Hearts Trick”, Order Out of Chaos is a table triumph where the cards are thrown haphazardly onto the table with cards going both face up and face down. The cards are further “smooshed” around  appearing to mix them even further and upon being squared without any further action, right themselves all to the same orientation…except for a freely named selection! Right when the audience thinks the effect is over, the cards are given one more shuffle and the entire deck is found to have transformed into new deck order.

This technique may be used to secretly maintain a stacked deck or be used as a show piece to have the deck magically return to a new deck order arrangement.  If you don’t know how to faro shuffle, don’t worry! This video will teach you how to finish with a deck of cards in suited order even without having to faro shuffle.

Here's what happens, you hand your spectator a 'Juke-Book', on each page is a song, the artist, and the catalog number of that song (the numbers on the back or side of a CD). They can flick through the book to verify that every song, artist, and number is different on every page. Then you bring out some cards, each card has three numbers written on them, you shuffle the cards and then spread them for your spectator to take one. You ask your spectator to THINK of one of the numbers on their chosen card and to turn to that page number in the 'Juke-Book', then you ask them to concentrate on either the song, catalog number, artist, or all three (it's up to you which piece of information you want to reveal). You then write down which song they're thinking of (or the artist, or the catalog number).

Your spectator doesn't tell you anything, they don't tell you what page number they're thinking of, they don't tell you the song, or the artist, or the catalog number, absolutely NOTHING! ... And yet, despite them revealing nothing to you, YOU'RE able to make it appear as if you're reading their mind, and give them all the information.

There are NO stooges, NO helpers giving you information, NO electronic devices giving you information. It really is just a book, some cards, and you and your spectator.

Mind reading has never been so easy! When you mix genius with creativity you get a product as solid as this!

Propless Security Code Guess
In 3CSC Fraser teaches his prop-less method for divining a three digit security code made up by a spectator, otherwise known as a 3CSC or CVC number that would typically appear on the back of a credit or debit card.

This is a unique take and novel presentation on the now modern classic prop-less pin reveal, which uses a streamlined method that moves away from the use of personal dates and mathematics to make it work.

It is practically self working. The method is simplicity itself. Everything is justified via the presentation and there is very little process.
