Link a borrowed ring onto your shoe laces. Then impossibly move the knot to the toe of your shoe and untie it. The visuals are insane, and the effect is a reputation maker. Perform an absolute miracle using only your shoes. This is laced up by Donnovan Mount.

Here’s what happens:

The magician borrows a finger ring from an audience member. The ring is simply touched to the shoe laces near the toe of the shoe, the very bottom of the laces. Impossibly the ring penetrates the shoelace and is linked on with absolutely no cover right in the middle of the laces. To get the ring off, the magician visibly plucks the tied bow of the laces off the top of the shoe and reattaches the knot at the point in the laces where the ring is linked. Then, in an unbelievable moment, the shoe laces are untied, and the ring is returned to the spectator. The magician can then retie the laces, move the knot back to the top of the shoes, and even untie them again to prove the knot actually moved.

Laced Up is one of the wildest effects we have ever released. You need to watch the video to see the absolutely insane visuals this effect has. The shoe laces can actually be untied when the bow is at the top of the shoes and when it’s at the toe. What will he teach?

A simple proposition involving two pills, one red, one blue. The magic begins when the red pill vanishes from his closed fist.

Simply blow four cards out of the deck in various strange ways to discover they are the four aces.

Someone chooses an aces and you find all the cards of its suit in order even though the deck has been shuffled. After completely this incredible task, all the cards change to a different suit.

The magician and his helper act as mirror reflections of one another, both performing the same actions, to each produce a four of a kind.

Justin Miller – Vibration

Justin Miller’s blend of restoration slash card change.

A card is peeked at by a spectator and then lost. You challenge them to find that same card by choosing it from a face-down spread. Unfortunately they are unable to – instead finding a card of the same value. Taking the card from the spectator you begin to tear the card – letting the spectator separate the final piece.

Now it’s time for a reputation-making restoration of that same corner.

With a touch of the fingers, the pieces visually restore. Before they’ve had time to react the restored card is turned around to show its face – it has CHANGED into their original card.

Insight by Hugo Shelley

The Insight system includes a miniature wrist-worn reader and a deck of 52 electronic playing cards.

The smallest RFID reader available, Insight can detect playing cards at up to 11cm (4.5 in) away. A simple vibration cue will tell you the suit and value of the card within seconds.

THE EFFECT

The performer hands the deck to a volunteer and invites them to choose their favourite card, placing the rest of the deck aside. Without touching the volunteer or the deck, the performer reveals the chosen card.

An almost infinite variety of effects can be performed – you’re limited only by your imagination!

THE READER

The reader features wireless transmission and on-board vibration cuing. At only 77 x 33mm it’s incredibly small, with a range that allows you to detect cards and tags with a single gesture. The battery will last for over 10 hours on a single charge and is both rechargeable and replaceable.

THE DECK

The Insight deck (Phoenix edition) is the very first electronic deck to be designed from the ground up specifically for magicians.
