The Shark by ZIHU

Short description: The secret inside the box will frustrate your spectators, defying their logic and reasoning! You can reach in the box and find the selected card, but they only feel the shark’s pull!

Spectators ask themselves, “Why can’t I pull out the card?”

What it is: A whole new concept and gimmick — no threads, no magnet, self-working and 100% reliable.

A smart mechanism lets you keep the cards inside the box and release them anytime you want. You control the position, stop point, and timing for when it ends. This makes the audience curious, obsessed by the mystery inside the small box.

What happens: The spectator puts the deck into the box, then pulls out every single card until they reach the position you choose. At that point, they can’t withdraw the cards anymore… the cards stick tightly to the inside of the box.

Lou Serrano – Steel Ball Routine

The magician presents a small, red box, removes the lid and dumps out three one-inch, chromed, steel ball bearings. The box is put to the side of the table.

One at a time each ball bearing is not vanished, but turned invisible. The three invisible balls are touched together and in a burst of light, everyone goes back in time, back to the time when all three balls were visible and inside the box. The lid is removed from the box that has been in plain view the entire time, and the three steel balls are dumped out once again!

Keep in mind…

Oil and WHAT THE by Takeshi Taniguchi

Oil and WHAT THE… | by Takeshi Taniguchi - YouTube

Oil and WHAT THE… is a stunning update to a classic of card magic. Red and black cards are clearly interlaced one by one, and with not even the hint of a suspicious move, the blacks VISUALLY melt through the reds. There are no gimmicks, no extra cards, and what’s even more amazing is that this beautiful routine can be done with ZERO difficult sleights. Both the sleight-of-hand and semi-automatic versions have the same mind-bending visual finale, and the fine points of both are taught in expert detail. And since it uses regular cards it can be incorporated into any existing  Oil and Water routine you currently do.

Ernesto Melero – Download Bundle

Ernesto Melero Download Bundle - YouTube

Ernesto Melero is an underground legend with astounding chops and a wildly creative approach to magic. Haven’t heard of him? That’s because he hasn’t published any magic for more than a decade. But now we’re proud to present this download bundle, which showcases some of his best routines and sleights. In particular, his “Impromptu Invisible Deck” is diabolically bold and easy to master, and “Card in Glass” is perhaps the purest card to impossible location we’ve seen.

Cheerleader by Woody Aragon

Have a spectator find their own card from a shuffled deck without you ever knowing it’s identity. This nearly self-working miracle will put jaws on the floor. This is Woody Aragon’s Cheerleader.

The deck is divided amongst members of the audience who shuffle them. One spectator remembers one of the cards and loses it in the deck. Another spectator begins dealing cards while the spectator with the selection mentally cheers out the letters in name of the card. When the dealing has stopped, not only has the name of the card been spelled, but the card that was stopped at is exactly the selected card.

Woody Aragon has gone above and beyond in the teaching of this trick to explain the extremely clever thinking that makes this practically self-working. Cheerleader is a perfect effect for someone just getting into card magic, and the pros will appreciate the exceptionally clever method that makes it possible. This is Woody Aragon’s Cheerleader.

Christopher Wiehl – Arthur

The story of King Arthur and the Sword in the Stone has been passed down, translated, and presented in thousands of ways for almost a thousand years. A story of power, destiny, and magic that has withheld the test of time. The story is simple, but the implications are grand. Christopher Wiehl has taken inspiration from this timeless story and has created one of his strongest effects yet.

Have a card selected by a spectator, while the rest of the deck is placed into the box. The chosen card is then replaced, only half way into the deck, much like King Arthur’s sword in the stone. Like the tale, the card is now held by the deck, which is now as solid as a rock.
