Alex Elmsley was one of the most influential thinkers in the history of card magic. When he passed away in 2006 (has it been that long?), we lost a true legend, and all of us lost the opportunity to spend time with him.
But in a way, we still can. Late in life Colin Rose filmed an intimate lecture containing a mixture of classics, and unpublished Elmsley material. This is material NOT included in his seminal books or his earlier videotapes. This is material mostly shown here for the first time.
“Experts at the Card Table” is a chance to spend a full day (six hours) with us and some of our favorite magicians. It’s happening on Sunday, October 25th, and you’ll spend all day with some of the brightest lights in cards magic. You’ll learn new routines, unpublished techniques, and detailed tutorials on cheating sleights.
There will be a tour of Jason England’s “Cheating Museum” and a jam session with your hosts, Joshua Jay and Andi Gladwin, and lectures from Allan Ackerman, Jason England, and Shin Lim.
