Confinement by Phil Dacosta

Confinement by Phil Dacosta | Magic Stream

A signed card is lost in the deck.

Having been unable to retrieve it, the magician forfeits all that he has in his pockets to the spectator. A business card, a wristband, a sharpie – and a sealed pack of gum.

As the spectator makes to walk away with his prize, the magician stops him, asking for a stick of gum. With a look of INCREDULITY, the spectator tears off the cellophane, opening the pack – and there, sitting amongst the sticks, is the SIGNED card.

Pump Room Phantasy Revisited by Jack Carpenter

Pump Room Phantasy Revisited by Jack Carpenter - $2.00 : magicianpalace.com

A routine with a beginning, middle and applause-inducing finale. And no cards are chosen.

We wanted to make sure you saw the full performance in the trailer, from start to finish. Yes, we know this is a routine that could be pieced together by a skilled card magician without purchasing but we hope that you will be interested in learning the finer points. That is exactly what you get as you sit tableside with Jack in this downloadable video.

These days, not only is it rare to see a full performance of a routine on a trailer, it is even more uncommon to find a magic-packed routine that clocks in at almost three minutes. Jack has taken a classic Bert Allerton effect, pushed it to its limits, and now we’re introducing it to a new generation.

More than just the mechanics of the trick, you will also get a peek inside Jack’s brain as he details not only the how but also WHY this is such a great piece.

Ben and Ambrose – Visualism

Visualism by Ben and Ambrose

Visualism is the debut released of cardistry duo Ben and Ambrose. Hailing from Singapore these young men have been creating and showcasing their unique approach to cardistry since 2010. Project Visualism was originally slated to release in 2014; however due to lost footage the release was sadly canceled.

Recently, while digging through old hard drives, we located the original footage and are pleased to announce that the entire project has been re-edited from scratch and is better than ever.

Without further ado we present Visualism, a collection of 36 eye-catching card flourishes from Ben and Ambrose. Each flourish is showcased several times and taught in slow-motion from multiple angles for an intuitive hands-on learning experience.

CLR by Dan Hauss

This is a great walk-around effect, leaving your spectators in disbelief! Best of all, it is super simple in method, setup, and performance.

The cards are thoroughly shuffled by the spectator. They then fairly select a card, sign it, and it gets lost in the deck. The cards can be handled very fairly and freely and, with just a touch, you can pluck the card from the pack. It appears to almost jump into your hand! Instantaneous and very visual!

The Unusual Suspect by Matthew Wright

Calzaghe’s Opener:
A workhorse card routine that is full of energy, magic and really lets them know that you have arrived! This is the piece that Matthew will immediately get into upon approaching a group of people.

Final Destination:
Matthew’s highly visual ending to his three fly routine – it begins in the classic way but on the final coin, they actually see it float across – has to be seen to be believed. Performed LIVE in the bar, then every detail is covered in the explanation, including setup, performance and another of Matthew’s great presentations!

Mental Mullica:
A fantastic prediction effect using the premise of money, a bet and whole lot of entertainment. This routine will put your Mullica wallet to full use and uses no forces of any kind, just a very devious method!

Mint:
Matthew has taken a classic effect by Derren Brown and given it his own unique twist and presentational angle that makes this a real-world worker. A thought of card vanishes from the deck, only to reappear in a mint packet that has been in full view the whole time!

At the Table Experience – Luke Dancy – March 2017

Product Image

Originally from North Carolina and now living in Las Vegas, Luke Dancy has spent the last 30 years as a performer, creator, and consultant for Criss Angel. With a love and passion for magic that is contagious, we invite you to join us At The Table with the man behind the mischief, Luke Dancy.

Magic with double-stick tape is something that Luke has become known for over the last 20 years. He’ll be sharing the RIGHT way to use it, along with a few routines that show just how versatile this simple ‘gimmick’ can be. The other half of this lecture includes moves and routines that Luke has created, using nothing more than an ordinary deck of cards. Here’s what you’ll learn:

CTP: A signed-card-to-pocket routine that uses NO palming… that’s right! One of the easiest card-to-pocket routines around that anyone can do within minutes.

4 Piles: Ever wonder what to do when someone hands you a deck of cards on the spot? Get ready to learn an impromptu revelation of a 4 of a kind that happens in the spectator’s hands. They make ALL the choices, but you end up with an impossible ending that they never see coming.

Sandwich Way Did They Go?: You’ve seen sandwich routines, but never before like this! This is the original that sparked versions from magicians such as Chris Mayhew and Tom Stone. Along with this routine, you’ll also learn Luke’s BOLD way of forcing cards that has fooled magicians and laymen alike!

Compressed Deck: Learn the sequence that Luke has created and used for the past 15 years. This routine causes cards to appear from nowhere or transpose with other cards. You’ll learn 2 different routines, using the concept that Luke has used to fool some of the best minds in magic.

Painter’s Nightmare: You’ve heard people say that they’ve drawn a blank, but we know that it’s all just a saying… until now! Remove the ink from cards, or use this sequence to do one of the best versions of Reset you’ve ever seen!

Bare by The Other Brothers

In what is destined to become the go-to trick for professionals around the globe, Bare generates screams, gasps, and reactions like no other trick we know. This special, hand-altered Sharpie marker allows you to cause ANY card, initials, number, or simple shape to appear ON A SPECTATOR’S HAND.

They hold out a hand, palm down, and you gently sprinkle salt, pepper, coffee grinds, or sand on their hand. By rubbing their hand gently, their thought-of shape APPEARS on their own hand.

The Bare Sharpie allows you to invisibly write or draw anything on YOUR hand, which you easily and imperceptibly transfer onto their hand. The best part? It has no scent or stickiness, and can be easily wiped away after the performance. This is a hygienic, “neat” version of the “Ashes on Arm” trick — it doesn’t endanger a spectator’s clothing or look “dirty.”
